Vector Humming Birds test designs

This is the first pass attempt at some cartoony hummingbird designs for a game concept I'm trying to take action on. The game itself will be a simple timed map course using either adobe edge and flash or game maker. I might make an attempt at a html5 version first but I haven't decided which would be more interesting yet. Till then here's a vector preview, overall I like them but I need to go a bit further down the cartoony path, currently working on a redesign of these that's a bit simpler and more whimsical.

This is actually one of the old sketches from February 4, 2012 http://sketcheveryday.blogspot.com/2012/02/deep-one.html. Overall I like the direction I went with it although as is the case with most of my paintings, once finished with it I feel like I should paint it again.. Think I'll leave it alone for now :).
